Battlescar, created by Martín Allais and Nico Casavecchia is a 30-minute virtual reality film broken into three parts. The film follows a year in the life of Lupe (Rosario Dawson), a Puerto Rican-American woman living in the late 1970’s New York City punk scene. Battlescar is a coming of age drama that explores the theme of identity through the use of animation and immersive environments in virtual reality.
