HOW IT WORKS

Wonderspaces finds exhibition opportunities that match the artists’ wishes. We form relationships with curators, arts institutions, cultural organizations, schools, governments, events, and businesses, and help curate exhibitions that meet their goals as well as the goals of partner artists.

Wonderspaces then connects the artists with exhibitors and supports the exhibitions when we can be helpful, including assistance with planning, communications, production, shipping, setup, and ensuring timely payments. In some cases, the artists will contract directly with the exhibitor.

Artists have full freedom and flexibility. Partnerships with Wonderspaces are non-exclusive and do not restrict artists’ ability to pursue any other opportunities. Artists are under no obligation to participate in the exhibition opportunities presented. Artists can terminate the partnership with Wonderspaces with six months notice.

Artists are always paid, credited, promoted.  Wonderspaces will only bring paid opportunities to artists and never ask them to come out of pocket. Wonderspaces does not create art, we partner with artists to extend the reach of their work. With clear credit and promotion, Wonderspaces will never confuse anyone about the artwork’s creator.

Artist FAQ

  • Unlike an agency, Wonderspaces requires neither exclusivity nor commitment from the artists. Similar to an agency, Wonderspaces seeks to find and create new opportunities on behalf of partner artists.

  • Wonderspaces accepts new partnerships with artwork that has been exhibited before. If an exhibitor is interested in commissioning new art, Wonderspaces will help connect the exhibitors with suitable artist.

  • The number of opportunities presented to artists depends on several factors including demand from exhibitors, exhibition constraints like room dimensions and budget, and success of previous exhibitions.

  • Wonderspaces receives fees from exhibitors.

  • Wonderspaces handles payments on behalf of artists and guarantees on-time payments to artists.

  • Wonderspaces seeks exhibition opportunities for artists around the world.

  • Wonderspaces is looking to partner with artists creating extraordinary and accessible artwork of any medium that has been exhibited successfully in the past.
