Karina Smigla-Bobinski
ADA
ADA is an interactive installation inspired by Ada Lovelace, a pioneer of computer science. It is a helium-filled, membrane-like globe that is spiked with charcoals and floats freely.
Karina Smigla-Bobinski lives and works as an artist in Munich. Her artwork bridges mediums; she produces and collaborates on projects which span from kinetic sculptures, to interactive installations, to theatre performances. Her process involves different methods of making, creating outcomes which are extraordinarily unique and evolve based on visitor participation or the surrounding environment.
