ARCAAN Collective
Immersive
IMMERSIVE is an 8-minute virtual reality experience that explores intermedia forms with minimalist design and electroacoustic compositions that work together to create a merging of senses that aren't normally connected. A sequence of continually self-reconfiguring geometric forms triggers a deep dive into an abstract time-space arrangement.

ARCAAN Collective (Aide et Recherche pour la Création Artistique Audiovisuelle Numérique) was created in 2015 by sound designer Antoine Briot and digital artist Jérémy Oury. Their work combines their audio and visual skills to produce unique mapping or digital installations. They explore multimedia forms to create synaesthesia and minimalist partitions with unexpected narrations in various ways, including architectural mapping, immersive installations, and fulldome projections. They have won several art prizes in Europe, including the Jury Prize at FIMG 2015 and the Public Prize at ICIA 2018, and two fulldome awards at Macon film festival 2019 (USA) and HIFF 2019 (USA).
