VOID is a series created with a custom generative software that plays with elements of color, pattern, and surface and manipulates the illusion of the picture plane within the compositions. A swarm of particles moves over a surface leaving behind colorful traces, governed by an algorithm. Over time, this results in an abstract composition whose development is unpredictable.
Andreas Nicolas Fischer (Munich) is an artist whose work is concerned with the physical manifestation of digital processes and data through generative systems. Through his practice, he investigates the effects of technology and automation on society and contemporary art.
